In the Biblical days people put their personal history on staffs.  I, Doug McDaniel, thought it would be great to have one to represent my family clan.  I began searching for family lineage walking sticks at Scottish Festivals and on the internet, but I could not find one.  This gave me the motivation to create walking sticks for Scottish and Irish Clans.  Clan walking sticks could be used by clans people to rest on, walk with, display their family geneology, or spark a conversation.
